Increase in the number of illegal entry into the territory by immigrants could impact the presidential election next month.

CBS News reports a good numbers of immigrants are gushing along the lanes of McAllen, Texas, everyday. A migrant center near Sacred Heart Catholic Church has been used for migrants to be released with ankle monitors while applying for asylum by Border Patrol.

CBS News spokesman Chris Cabrera informed that they’ve been watching illegal crossing at the US-Mexico border, which can be attributed to the upcoming election.

The smugglers are telling them if Hillary [Clinton] gets elected, that there’ll be some sort of amnesty, that they need to get here by a certain date,” Cabrera said. “They’re also being told that if [Donald] Trump gets elected, there’s going to be some magical wall that pops up overnight and once that wall gets up, nobody will ever get in again.

Cabrera also said that across the McAllen’s stretch, they’ve witnessed around 1,000 migrants crossing the border.

We’re getting mass spikes of people crossing and turning themselves in,” he said.

Specialists notified CBS News there will be no decrease in immigrant number after Election Day.

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, constantly said he would construct a wall along Mexican border to stop illegal entry of the immigrants, as the President of US.

Initially this month, Trump made a claim that the citizenship procedure for immigrants who are on the waiting list is being sped up by the U.S. government, so they get to vote.

They’re letting people pour into the country so they can go and vote,” Trump stated during a summit with the National Border Patrol Council.

Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, has guaranteed immigration legislation that will add a path to citizenship in the initial 100 days as president. Her approach is widely in line by approved Democrats and Republicans in the 2013 Senate, but was turned down by the House. Trump has clarified to counter any illegal level for immigrants in the country. They will be deported back to their homeland and apply for entry into the country legally. Trump has also wanted to close “birthright citizenship,” currently given to everyone born in the U.S.
