STEM Diversity CAREER EXPO Recruits Talent for Fortune 500 Companies

An announcement made by a leading U.S. publication house declares that registration is now open for STEM diversity CAREER EXPO to be held on 19 March from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The venue for the event is Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, TX. This event is free of cost.

In this event, job seekers will get an opportunity to meet with recruiters from some of the top Fortune 500 companies as well as of government organizations. The list includes Capital One, ADM, Federal Reserve System, Air Force Recruiting Service, CA Technologies, Dell, U.S. Postal Service, Hess Corporation, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Air Force Civilian Service, Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corporation, Caterpillar, U.S. Department of State, NextEra Energy, Lockheed Martin and many others. 

People who are inclined to attend this event should register online beforehand. On the specified day, they should also bring copies of their resume, and be dressed in formal or military outfit. The minimum age for a person to attend the CAREER EXPO is 18 years. 

The event is being sponsored by Women in Technology International (WITI), Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), IEEE Computer Society and Texas Chapter. According to statistics report of Bureau of Labor, the STEM employment in general is slated to grow about 13% during the year 2012 to 2022. This shows an expedited growth rate as compared to the corresponding 11% for all occupations over the past 10 years.
