Irish based Security firm to upgrade 85 jobs in bid for international expansion

Net-watch is recruiting candidates for roles in software department, digital marketing, sales and engineering.

The company has decided to grow its firm globally and has plans to expand in both US and UK in the coming years. The company said it was now gaining the benefits of a long-term planning which was hatched in more challenging times.

Speaking at the event, An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny said, “Net-watch is an example of a homegrown Irish Company which is competing on a global scale. This Irish success story is providing employment to more than 150 people. The announcement today of 85 new jobs shows that Ireland is to the forefront of research and development in the software field."

The company was established in Carlow in 2003 and uses live audio warnings to ward off intruders. Net-watch now operates in four continents with clients across Europe, South Africa, the Middle East and the USA.

Net-watch monitors in excess of 42,000 security cameras at both commercial and residential sites all over the globe from its Communications Hub in Carlow. The company currently provides advanced video processing to more than 3,200 businesses around the globe in the retail, warehousing, logistics and multinational sectors.
