Apr 25,2016

Job seekers in Sydney will perceive the most productive pay packets in the parts of CBD (central Business district) but the salaries on offer around the high-tech hub of Macquarie Park are not far behind.

The average income for jobs advertised in the CBD this month is $90,470, a report by job portal engine Adzuna showed that the later-best was the northern region - which includes Macquarie Park and Ryde - with an average salary of $81,650. The city's modest average income for advertised jobs ($67,760) was in the southern Sydney region which adds Hurstville, Rockdale and Sutherland Shire.

The yearly full-time income for opportunities over Greater Sydney previous month was $89,636, up 4 per cent on a year ahead and the strongest of all the state capitals.

The chief executive of Adzuna, Raife Watson, Australia, attributed the growth to a high portion of opportunity in the city's finance industry.

16 per cent of biggest paying jobs in Sydney are in the field of accounting and finance sector.

The average number of vacancies for each job seeker in Sydney is positive than other major cities. Adzuna's data showed that there were about 3.24 job seekers for each advertised position in Sydney previous month. Adelaide was the toughest state capital in finding a job with 14.1 job seekers for each advertised position.
