The Role:
Citibank is seeking an experienced risk specialist to provide personal advice to clients of Citibank which addresses their overall wealth management needs utilizing our range of insurance, investments, superannuation and financial planning solutions.
Ensure the personal advice provided is of the highest standard and in the client’s best interests.
Achieve insurance revenue targets as set by the business.
Ensure advisory standards, process and controls are adhered to.
Build and maintain a pipeline from own network and referrals from Citibank Relationship Managers, and other referral sources, by actively seeking business opportunities, training and coaching.
Work closely with Area Managers, Relationship Managers, Product Managers and other Specialists to achieve business goals.
Ensure technical knowledge on insurance investments, superannuation and financial planning is kept current.


Key Requirements

RG 146 qualified
Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) is essential
CFP is highly desirable, but not essential
Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 5 years financial advisory experience.
Strong working knowledge of life insurance including the ability to conduct insurance needs analysis, matching appropriate insurance products to client’s needs and follow up with the underwriting process.
Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
Ability to use initiative and work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met.
Able to manage risk and ensure compliance meets Citibank’s, FOFA and industry standards.
Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal, for phone based and face to face.
Strong understanding of personal advice process, advisory standards and advice documentation requirements.
Strong understanding of financial planning strategies including insurance, retirement planning, wealth creation, superannuation and Centrelink.

Strong business development skills
Must be able to communicate technical or complex concepts to broader audience.
