The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Have the ability to prepare food to a high quality and take pride in their work
Have commitment to quality and presentation of food 
Have kitchen management experience for multiple food destinations
Have leadership skills and ability to train and manage staff 
Be interested in food production and menu planning
Have a thorough understanding of and commitment to HACCP and kitchen hygiene
Be able to develop and suggest ideas for potential new menu items
Easily work on own initiative or as part of a team
Have a strong work ethic and customer focus

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the production of food items in accordance with instructions from the Executive Sous Chef and/or the Executive Head Chef
Be familiar with the menu and with any “specials” of the day
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion
Ensure high standards of Hotel are met
Avoid wastage and comply with portion control
Ensure HACCP compliance within the kitchen and at all times
Ensure the kitchen equipment is in working order; report any maintenance issues to your supervisor
