Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

Develop, document and support test software for production and validation test systems.
Interface with customers in eliciting test system requirements.
Develop software testability requirements.
Support test systems verification and validation activities.
Participate in development of test frameworks and data storage solutions.
Develop low level instrument drivers.
Provide on-line and/or on-site tester support.
Participate in test system quoting activities.
Interact with customers as needed.
Represent test systems department in cross-functional meetings, design reviews, technical presentations, etc.
Travel on as-required basis - Expect travel to Flex Manufacturing site in Mexico 3 to 4 times a year.
Participate in test system quoting activities.
Other duties as assigned by Manager or Group Leader.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

University degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or similar.
Minimum 2 years’ of software development experience in a design environment.
Knowledge of National Instruments test platform (hardware and software).
Solid programming background with expertise in at least one of the following: LabWindows, LabVIEW or TestStand.
Team player willing to juggle multiple concurrent projects with impossible deadlines.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences…

Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN and LIN C# and .NET
Experience developing device drivers using USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, RS485
Relational database design and implementation
TSQL, MS SQL Server, SQLite
Experience with one of version control software tools
Industrial vision and automation
Hands on skills including: soldering, wiring, mechanical assembly
