BGC Contracting is currently seeking a Site Administrator for our Iron Knob Operations. This position will be a Fixed Term position for maternity leave coverage working an 8 days on 6 days off roster.

The Site Administrator will report directly to the Project Accountant and is responsible for the efficient and timely collation and reporting of site/project information and data.

The successful candidate will require previous experience in same or similar role, excellent organisational skills, intermediate computer skill, excellent verbal and written communication, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player within a dynamic and continuously changing work environment. Knowledge of JDE is desirable but not essential. 

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Accurately input all data and information into the JD Edwards (“JDE”) Financial System package system on a daily basis (this includes; machine hours, SMU readings, fuel issues, wages data, purchase requisitions, work orders, material deliveries/use, and revenue quantities/amounts).

  • Accurately input relevant data and information into BGC computer software applications as site requirements, including entering information into Cintellate.

  • Check for accuracy, reconcile all reports prepared, and ensure the reports are sent and received in accordance with site requirements.

  • Ensure all phone/fax/e-mail messages are recorded and given to the Manager/Supervisor concerned.

  • Attend to general office duties as directed by the management team whilst ensuring primary obligations are prioritised as per daily checklists.

  • Collate costing and reporting information

  • Prepare weekly payroll data for all wages personnel and submit to pay office.

  • Process employee Pay Queries.

  • Process employee Leave Requests.

  • Maintain training matrix, records and personnel files as required by BGC Contracting and the client for all personnel on site where directed.

  • Attend and take minutes for meetings.

  • Follow up actions from meetings with relevant personnel.
