Responsibilities include:

·Resolve reported discrepancies based on Customer direction;

·Develop, test, verify and distribute configuration changes to the Development Baseline that result from discrepancy resolution, software upgrades and enhancements

·Maintain and update existing system specifications, interface control documents, and other system documentation

·Provide technical change inputs on CONOPS, System Security Plans, Functional Requirements Specification documentation

·Participation in Operational Readiness testing, demonstration and reviews, as well as other Technical Exchange Meetings

·Prepare RFC’s and other required documents for changes to the Operational System Baseline

·Design and implement architecture changes to support evolution driven by internal and external activities

·Accurately document problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools, analyze software errors and produce code changes to correct those errors

·Provide status reports and technical data to supervisors

Required Skills:

·Must possess IAT Level II certification IAW DoD directive 8570

·Must be familiar with current COTS computer hardware - particularly HP & IBM

·Must have software programming background, with competency in Linux and/or Unix operating systems

·Must be familiar with networking technologies & protocols

·Must have experience with XMIDAS based systems and programming

·Must possess a high level of competency in technical writing

·Must possess excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills

·Must have the ability to multi-task and be flexible & adaptable enough to operate effectively in a dynamic environment

·Must be available for unscheduled call-in as well as prearranged support during periods outside normal business hours

Qualified applicants must have the ability to satisfy requirements for a TS/SCI SSBI (US) or TS/PV (AUS) security clearance.

Individual and family must successfully pass medical and psychological examinations prior to being selected for the position, and have the ability to satisfy requirements for applicable visas to work and/or reside in Australia.

Desired Skills:

·Database Administration experience

·Familiarity with networking hardware and configuration

·Working knowledge of server/storage/desktop virtualization technologies

·Strong background in digital signals processing or communications theory

·Project management and execution skills

Required Education:

Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, or related field and a minimum of 4 years related experience including a working knowledge of signal processing theory and concepts, data acquisition & processing technology OR possess equivalent experience (12 years) in lieu of a degree
