Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk and Compliance, your role as Senior Manager will be part of a team that provides Operational Risk & Compliance Support to the management of supplier risks within Enterprise Services.  The support you provide will result in improvements to the way that supplier risks are managed by Enterprise Services and the associated line 1 Risk Management teams.  This includes the execution of the Operational Risk Management Framework meeting compliance obligations, as well as integrating changes and activities that contribute towards Enterprise Services strategic priorities.


More specifically, some of your main duties will include:


Assisting in providing strategic direction to ensure appropriate Line 2 oversight and management of technology and supplier risk across Enterprise Services and Group Support Functions business units;
Reviewing and evaluating new/existing supplier arrangements and key projects that involve use of suppliers within Enterprise Services to ensure technology and supplier risks are identified and managed appropriately;
Providing quality supplier and technology risk advice to significant ES projects dependent on suppliers, with a focus on projects that will be leveraging cloud based technology suppliers;
Assisting and advising the Business, Business Unit and Line 1 risk teams in their interactions with the regulator for supplier related matters; and
Monitoring supplier risks and providing guidance to the risk treatment of supplier related risk issues.


We are seeking a motivated Risk professional with:  


Sound knowledge of IT operational risk and compliance tools and techniques;
Strong experience working in/with IT within a Financial Services organisation;
Experience in review of supplier related risks including risk identification and assessment, risks related to cloud computing services, supplier governance / procurement processes and supplier internal control reviews;
High level stakeholder management and engagement skills;
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing business requirements; and
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional qualifications is desirable.
