Job description

In view of Southeast Asia’s growth, we are now seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Studios to provide commercial, analytical, financial planning and reporting support for the Studio team in South East Asia, closing liaising with our local markets, marketing team, Licensees, business partners and other global and regional stakeholders.


Lead the financial planning and reporting process for Studios, partnering with Studio leadership team to handle long term Strategic Plan (including market outlook & projections), Annual operating plan, Forecasts, Quarterly & Year-end reports & relevant presentations and submissions.
Close coordination with the operating teams in various SEA countries (including JVs) to review forecasts and actual performance
Lead actuals closing and analysis and supervise month-end close process and ensure all reporting requirements are met
Analyse operational results based on key drivers vs. budget/forecast; support management in making improvements
Business partnering for all sub-distributor businesses in SEA (Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, etc.) and for stage plays division, focused on reporting, forecasting and planning, commercial analysis and Contracts Management for these markets.
Monitor business performance versus both internal (historical trends, business plans) and external benchmarks (competition, TV landscape, technical development)
Business partner to Regional Marketing director in forecasting & actual analysis of the marketing expenses
Marketing project expenditure analysis – working with marketing to ensure forecasts are in line with likely actual spend and future commitments
Lead the preparation of quarterly presentation of results to senior management.



Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent discipline. CPA/ CIMA; MBA preferred.
10 to 12 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting, and Accounting with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
Prior working experience with a major studio / media industry will be a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with computer software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP & Cognos knowledge is a plus.
Equipped with excellent project management, analytical skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Able to utilize Financial & Accounting principles and financial systems and business tools for data analysis
Proficient in Financial Modelling and Analysis
Team player; with team synergy skills and a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams.
