Job description


Key Responsibilities: 


Review monthly financial statements, annual reports and manage audit process.
Keep abreast of the Financial Reporting Standards and provide guidance to team members on accounting standard / policies changes.
Align accounting policies and controls for new and existing processes.
Provide technical support for business planning, Sarbanes Oxley revide, align accounting policies and controls for processes, preparation of board materials and dividend repatriation.
           
 

Pre-requisite:


Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 8 years experience and must have Life Insurance industry experience
Candidates with Big 4 audit experience for Life Insurance companies will be preferred
Good communication skills
 Organised and meticulous with the ability to handle pressure
Strong analytical skills, result-driven, independent and energetic
