Position Details
PTV sits with VicRoads, VicTrack and V/Line in the DEDJTR transport portfolio. We work together with our partners to deliver a simpler, more coordinated transport system for Victoria.

The role
The Project/BSU Support role will assist in the delivery of the  Division's business and corporate objectives. Besides other tasks, this position will assist in completing an internal PTV scan to:
Establish the full list of projects under MR3 contract obligations,
develop understanding of Major Project’s close out
Review BSU plans and audits.
The Project/BSU support plays a key role in ensuring overall successful project delivery through support in completing specific reconciliation, review of BSU financial requirements, and implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
About you
Tertiary qualified ideally in business administration, finance or law, the ideal successful candidate for this role will have demonstrated experience in project management and expertise in delivering quality advice on all project and BSU related matters. 
In addition, you possess strong experience of working with complex commercial/contractual frameworks and you will be proactive problem solver with a high level of communication and stakeholder management skills.
With an understanding of government funding processes and demonstrated understanding of the role of PTV, its franchisees and other Government agencies in Victorian public transport delivery you will work successfully in a complex demanding environment to meet specific deadlines.
Your proven ability to effectively and proactively contribute to quality project delivery in a strong team environment coupled with your ability to operate professionally and flexibly in demanding and high-risk setting overseeing and coordinating  various stakeholders  will round off your profile.
