Job Description

FMP Mortgage Investments Inc. is currently searching for an experienced Mortgage Broker to help grow our residential and commercial mortgage division while being a thought leader and direct contributor in our organization. This role will be based out of head office and will entail working with existing agents while also concentrating on recruiting and developing new agents.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
Generate new business sales through prospecting activities and establishing referral channels
Educating referral agents, new and existing mortgage agents and channel partners on all mortgage products, real estate and demographics
Develop and maintain client relationships
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge


Required Knowledge and Skill

3+ years of investment, mortgage and/or financial sales/services experience is an asset
Ability to oversee and grow a team of licensed agents
Proven track record of developing your own book of business
Have strong relationships in the investment/financial industry is a major asset
Strong presentation skills
Confident, reliable, motivated, and goal oriented
Ability to work independently and lead an outside salesforce
Carry an entrepreneurs drive and attitude
Must be able to travel
