Job description

We are currently looking for a PHP/HTML5 developer to join our growing team and help develop our suite of financial management products. 

Our technology stack includes  Yii2, MySQL, Knockout.JS, Ionic / AngularJS running on a mix of Amazon AWS / TAS hosting infrastructure. Our suite includes both web portals and iPhone / Android applications.

You will be comfortable working in an agile environment both independently and in a team setting, producing quality code while meeting deadlines. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about technology, and willing to take ownership and suggest ideas and improvements to our software to benefit our end users. 


Key Responsibilities:

You will work directly with our development team, technical lead and product owner to both maintain and develop new features for our cloud based fin-tech product suite. 


You should:

Be passionate about web technologies and the end-user experience
Have a minimum of 3 years web development experience
Know your way around the LAMP / LEMP stack (Linux, Apache / Nginx, MySQL,   MVC frameworks and composer tools.  
Experience with GIT and version control workflows
Be comfortable using JIRA for project management and bug tracking
Ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders, and vice versa
Good written and verbal communication skills


Even better if you:

Have experience with continuous delivery / continuous integration tools and workflows
Understand the importance of unit / regression testing and have practical experience
Have built software using the Yii2 framework
Have experience with vagrant / ansible for local development and server provisioning
Have used SQLite bundled with a Cordova / Phonegap application
