UCC wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the role of Lecturer in American Literature. Reporting to the Head of the School of English, the Lecturer will have responsibility for teaching and research in the area of American Literature. The Lecturer will co-ordinate and deliver undergraduate lecture and seminar modules on Nineteenth and Twentieth Century American Literature; contribute to the teaching of Critical Theory; contribute to teaching and supervision for the MA in English: American and British Modernities.

Appointment may be made on the Lectureship Salary Scale (pro-rata 50%): €32,821 - €57,967/€63,353- €79,200.
