The Human Resources Manager will provide consultative services to business leaders across the region on: learning & development, talent acquisition and human resource initiatives.  This role will also be responsible for regional HR Communications. 

Responsibilities include:


Helping leaders to identify where their organization can and should invest resources to increase business performance
Providing expertise  in the planning and facilitation of effective organizational design and development that enables business results
Working with individual business leaders to help identify ways to increase their organisation performance and to ensure that a strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization
Driving effective employee development discussions with the management team and supporting managers in forecasting and planning their resource requirements in line with the function/business strategy
Leading the regional implementation of the Global Learning & Development strategy and delivering programmes when necessary. Partnering with the Global Talent Development Team
Leading the talent acquisition strategy for the region as well as managing the regional staffing team.
Assisting in the implementation of HR strategies and corporate programs managing projects as determined by the HR Strategic plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives globally or on behalf of the region.
Managing and directing the planning, creation and execution of regional HR communication to further the awareness and understanding of HR policies, procedures, programs or initiatives, in partnership with the Regional legal team  and/or Global HR Communications team in the US as appropriate
Influencing and supporting organizational change initiatives

Qualifications
 
 Skills/Attributes required in this role:


Excellent client management skills including consulting, communication, and implementation
Strong business acumen  a good understanding of the business and the strategy, market awareness Strategic thinking - Knowing what business problem you are trying to solve and being able to envision a solution
Ability to build partnerships with executive level leadership, mid-level managers, and front-line employees
Ability to work in a fast paced global environment
Having an innate desire to make things better
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing, skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated effective listening and questioning skills
Analytical skills: being able to draw conclusions from data.
Knowledge of HR trends in the industry
Team player - working and collaborating with colleagues on site and across time zones
Proven capability in the areas of organizational behaviour, change management, business planning, policy implementation, employee development and program management 
Qualified candidates will have at least 10 – 15 years of HR or relevant business experience; learning & development experience required
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
