We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator based in our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office. The Human Resources Coordinator provides general administrative support to the HR Client Services Team for Canada Central & Atlantic. We’re looking for an individual who is client-focused, collaborative, motivated, talented, and committed to enhancing individual, team and company performance.


Your Duties:

Supports a team of HR consultants with coordination of Regional HR initiatives and services;
Assists with administration and reporting requirements for various government programs;
Supports annual processes such as seasonal workforce management;
Assists with various internal recognition and other programs, such as Holiday Gift Cards and Service Awards;
Maintains monthly geographic specific HR analytics reports;
Coordinates, arranges and sets up complex meeting and training venues and events;
Records and distributes meeting minutes;
Prepares Powerpoint presentations;
Compiles and tracks information for reporting purposes regarding employee retention and engagement; and
Performs other duties of a similar nature as assigned.


Your Capabilities and Credentials:

A minimum 2 to five years of experience in the field of Human Resources. HR administrative experience would be an asset;
College diploma or university degree in the field of Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business;
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Programs– Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Ability to work on multiple priorities and systems with tight deadlines;
Attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy;
Excellent written and verbal communication;
Excellent problem solver;
Demonstrated ability to work in diverse and virtual teams;
An acute sense of the needs of “internal customers”;
Exercises confidentiality, discretion and sound judgment;
Environmental Services, engineering and architectural design consulting industry preferred;
Experience working in a matrix environment with multi offices and business lines preferred; and
French language proficiency is an asset.
