Your assignment

You ensure the people strategy, principles/guidelines and relevant business plans relate and come together in a local HR action plan that is operationally implemented and lived-up to
You influence the management team to continuously develop local leadership capabilities within their function according to business needs
You support the building of local business competence by setting and working on relevant goals, together with the function managers
You ensure that our organisation is locally known as an attractive place to work and positioned as the preferred employer in the defined local market for every function by identifying and driving the opportunities to develop the relevant offer as a local employer
Together with centre management team, you secure an up todate succession process and plan by
 influencing the managers in taking the lead with special focus on talents and high-performing potentials
Together with Centre Business Navigator you deliver a local staff cost budget which secures a diverse, appropriate staff structure and meets the defined business and productivity goals in the unit
You create and implement a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and ensures that compliance to local labour policies, procedures and laws

In the establishment situation you will also:

Recruit and train strong centre HR team of passionate IKEA ambassadors in order to build strong IKEA Culture from day 1.
Together with centre management team, plan and execute recruitment and training of centre co-workers.
In close cooperation with centre management team establish smooth and efficient working processes and routines for the new centre.
Together with your team contribute to establish shopping centre brand in the new market ensuring strong connection with the local needs of many people.
Support smooth commercial build-up and opening of the new JB shopping centre!

Your profile

You have at least 8 years of working experience in Human Resource Management and business partnering, 
preferably from a fast-moving shopping centre environment, couple with exposure in centre or business build-up.
You are well versed in the local laws and regulations, constantly keeping yourself updated of the labour market trends and best practices.
Business-minded, you have experience in building the competence dimension as well as leading strategic HR assignments.
You excel in building strong working relationships in a matrix set-up with high level of integrity. 
Passionate about the growth and development of people, you have the ability to communicate, influence and create an environment where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality that embraces diversity of co-workers and visitors.
