ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Assist with the implementation of key people strategies and solutions in your assigned business functions
Contribute actively to the strategic development of the overall HR strategy for EMEA.
Support line managers on talent management: recruitment, retention and development to ensure business function has right talent to meet Company objectives and growth strategy.
Anticipate issues and needs within the function and address these effectively providing a first class service to the line managers.
Liaise with the Works Council on introduction of new policies, procedures and systems and develop required documentation for approval.
Act as an agent for change in the business functions ensuring organizational design development solutions drive business transformation and change.
Provide expert advice and guidance to ensure all employee issues are resolved, with the emphasis on building excellent relationships and instilling trust.
Undertake any disciplinary, grievances and any other ER related matters and support appeal processes within other functions.
Manage the full employee life-cycle for assigned business functions.
Oversee salary and bonus review, promotion cycle for your business functions.
Ensure employee data is up-to-date and maintain monthly KPIs and HR dashboards.
Review, identify, develop and deliver key initiatives including change programmes and annual HR processes.
Ensure up-to-date knowledge of local employment law and ensuring DLR is compliant with local legislation.
Assisting on any company-wide HR projects.
Partner with regional HR colleagues for HR initiatives across the region.
Provide cover for HR colleagues when required.
Cover payroll process as and when required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. HR Qualification
Generalist HR experience covering total employee life-cycle preferably within a global organization
Track record in developing effective HR solutions in a matrix organization.
Experience of working in a global organisation with a US HQ.
Experience of working with Works Councils.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Solid understanding and experience of employment law in managing employee relations.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and to set and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and good problem solving skills
Ability to develop reports for management use
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
