Key responsibilities:
Coordinate on-boarding / induction activities for new starters, deliver HR induction to all new starters (Cork & Dublin). Ensure compliance to company on and off-boarding processes. Work closely with on-boarding coordinators in all DPS offices. Ensure all induction presentations are up to date with current information.
Support CPD (Continuous Professional Development) activities including scheduling of CPD events, promotion of CPD programmes and managing internal CPD tracker tool (account set ups, regular reporting & ensuring tool is used in multiple offices etc.).
Coordinate DPS Graduate Recruitment Programme activities in Ireland including engagement with universities, students and recruiting managers to ensure DPS brand and Graduate Programme is visible and managed effectively.
Maintenance of all key HR, CPD and company news documentation on company intranet. assist in continuous improvement of same materials.
assist with implementation of new HR information system into DPS. Responsible for maintaining HR data inputs once system is live.
assist HR Manager with annual PDR (Performance, Development & Reward) processes. Preparation of review forms, training managers on the process, collation of compensation changes data and analysis of review forms.
Issue and renew employment contracts / contracts for service.
Regular communications with Finance relating to new hires, leavers and compensation changes.
Maintain physical employee HR files.
Employee survey: prepare for launch of annual survey. assist with producing survey result reports.
assist HR Manager and team with ongoing improvement processes and act as a local point of contact in Ireland for HR related queries.
Participate as a member of the local Sports & Social committee.
Reports: create regular reports such as on-boarding data, CPD monthly reports and annual survey reports.
Ensure all HR documentation is in line with brand guidelines.
Skills & experience required:
Third level qualification in Human Resources. CIPD member.
3 years + HR experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. approachable and trustworthy.
Flexible; able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
Can work discretely with sensitive and confidential information.
able to travel to Cork office periodically.
Strong IT skills are essential particularly with MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook). HRIS experience an advantage.
