About the Role
 
Cushman & Wakefield require the expertise of a Finance Manager to deliver the annual operating plan as well as partner with internal and client stakeholders to ensure operating cost saving initiatives are tracked and delivered with a critical partnership role within facilities and real estate services.
 
Your responsibilities will manage circa $65-70M opex spend with over 225 properties in both Australia and New Zealand under management (large commercial offices, industrial sites and small offices).
 
Key responsibilities and objectives: 
 
Strong business partnering across Cushman & Wakefield and client’s stakeholders, from General Managers through to graduates in Property, Facilities, Workplace, Technology and Procurement.
Support each business stream to deliver their annual budget and 5 year plan.
Partner with each business stream on the delivery of new services, providing end to end insights on financial impacts and solutions.
Identification of potential risks impacting the full year budget and development of initiatives across the portfolio.
Build strong customer relationships through outstanding stakeholder engagement.
Deliver clear and concise commercial analytics, including presentations to the client’s executive team (monthly management results, annual budget and other ad hoc reporting).
Delivery of commercial and financial KPIs to Cushman and Wakefield clients whilst meeting high standards of service within contractual obligations.
Strong management skills, encouragement and development of direct reports to ensure succession plans are in place.
Drive efficiency and productivity through standardisation of reporting and processes.
Solve complex issues and client requests and make recommendations on resolution when escalated.
 
About You
 
The ideal candidate for this role will have similar experience working within a large multi-site organisation ideally with a focus on operations and commercial insights.
You will have a high degree of independence and the ability to exercise judgement that will have organisational wide impact.
Strong commercial focus with value added delivery.
CPA or CA qualified candidates with strong IT skills including Excel and JDE will be looked at favourably.
A solid background and ability in analytical, commercial and communication skills are essential as you will be faced with high level decisions on a daily basis and must have the ability to interact at all levels.
You will demonstrate an ability to develop and implement business strategy and have a passion for interpreting and analysing financial information.
