Job description

Your key accountabilities are:

Responsible for group, local and regulatory reporting.

Ensure all finance reporting requirements are met on a timely and accurate basis.

Prepare financial analytics on monthly financial position and performance.

Budgeting and forecasting.

Provide support to tax and investment team.

Lead and be involved in projects related to the above.

Effective liaison and partnering with auditors.

Motivate, mentor and lead team of 3 to 4 people.


The successful candidate should have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Qualified accountant (CPA or CA equivalent).

At least 6 years of working experience preferably in the financial services industry with an emphasis on IFRS, taxation, regulatory & statutory reporting, budgeting and operational reviews.

Life insurance experience is mandatory.

Knowledge of IFRS, FIFRS, and local (Singapore) business practices is preferable.

High level of Excel proficiency is required.

High level of analytical skills to interpret operational results, financial results and cash flow statements.

Good communication and interpersonals skills, and a high level of integrity and initiative.

The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment as well as the flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines is necessary.
