KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Manage and develop installation and support teams
Develop an internal apprentice scheme through Government liason   
Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate building projects 
Deal with escalations and manage customer’s expectations. 
Provide a second line support.   
Performance reviews for team members of installation and support teams.    
Ensure training and skills are updated for installation and support teams, including necessary industry accredited qualifications.    
Liaise with various departments to ensure right first time for customers and satisfactory resolutions where required.     
Proactive and trouble-shooting visits to customer sites.
Ensure orders are processed and installations scheduled effectively
Customer site surveys and visits to ensure customers are kept updated and informed.
Monitoring of installation and fitting teams whilst on site to ensure promoting and providing a professional and competent customer service and that the quality of their work and interaction with the customers is of the highest standard.
Ensure coordination of final payments from the customer and fitting teams.
Ensure there is an effective and efficient customer service provision and out of hours provision.
Undertake small remedial works when attending site, if required. 
Ensure liaison with customer administration teams prove a faultless solution.
Liaise with suppliers on delivery of materials and other services.    
Deal directly with Work Safe and relivant Trade Unions to ensure we are in line with the latest legislation.
This is not an exhaustive list and will be subject to any other duties or responsibilities as required by the demands of the business and appropriate to the grade and level of this role.

EXPERIENCE

Good understanding of current building and BSI/AS/AWA regulations.
Demonstrative experience of Health and Safety.
Demonstrative experience of working with customers on their sites.
Demonstrative experience of managing and developing teams.
Demonstrative project management skills.
5 years previous management experience within the same industry.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

IOSH and/or NEBOSH Health and Safety qualification or equivalent.
Experience in training and auditing of National Vocational Qualifications
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Window design software packages.
Surveying and measuring of windows, doors and conservatories.
