About the Job

Business Development Representative needed for a Health preventative company in downtown Toronto.- You will be responsible for generating new business through prospecting activities.
-    Territory coverage- consistent contact an relationship building with assigned new business accounts 
-    Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business 
-    Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
-    Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
-    Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network 
-    Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and following up in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
-    Develop RFP as part of sales presentation
-    Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders 
-    Maintain customer relationships and ensure customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs appropriate to their business
-    Present at boardroom level, such as presentations to HR departments 
-    Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives. 
-    Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion 
-    Using knowledge of the market and competitors, participate to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
-    Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM- Base salary of 65K to 70K

- Exceptional Group Insurance-    Post secondary studies in a related field (Health, Administration, Marketing, etc.)
-    4 to 6 years of experience into internal sales
-    Excellent digital literacy (Microsoft suite, CRM, PC, etc.)
-    Current, effective social media presence and understanding
-    Proven background in business development
-    Proven track record in strong presentation skills 
-    Strong track record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level
-    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence
-    Skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients
-    Excellent organisational skills
