Equifax organizes 100 new openings at second Dublin development centre

Equifax, a global information solutions company with headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., today released the official opening of its second location in Ireland.

The IT Centre, situated in the Bloodstone Building on Sir John Rogerson's Quay, has made great progress in filling the initial 100 available positions and is progressing to hire for open opportunities. Given the deep pool of talent in the marketplace, Equifax is gazing at continued expansion and expects additional personnel to be added in coming months.

The global information technology demands of Equifax spans 24 countries across four continents and the new Centre will support these offices all over the world. According to IT Centre Leader Paul O'Dwyer, the Dublin office will focus on how the company's consumer and business data can be used to develop new products.

Guests at today's opening included Equifax leadership, employees and Irish and Georgia dignitaries, along with the Lord Mayor of Dublin Brendan Carr, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O'Connor, Atlanta Kasim Reed, the President of Georgia Institute of Technology G.P. "Bud" Peterson, include IDA Ireland CEO Martin Shanahan.

Speaking at the event Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O'Connor stated, "I am charmed that Equifax is continuing to invest in Ireland with the opening of their new state of the art IT Centre. It is a proof to Dublin being at the forefront of Innovation with a talented workforce that Equifax have decided to expand here.
