The US government considers this as a big achievement, since it is a positive sign of growing economy and the Federal Reserve is seriously considering in raising the interest rate by September.

Thomas Perex, Labor Secretary has welcomed the report and expressed his happiness over the growing number of jobs. He is of the view that more work needs to be done in creating more job opportunities and the salaries have to be rised.

He said that President Obama's move to raise the number of employees qualifying for overtime (additional) payment and efforts in raising the minimum wages will surely help in better wages for the people.

In the current year, an average of 2, 17, 000 jobs are being added every month to the economy, thus raising hopes in millions of people seeking jobs in US.
